Primary Fundraising Campaigns
The Annual Dragon Fund Drive is our biggest money-maker with over $15,000 being raised in previous years. We do not sell anything, we simply ask families to make a tax-deductible donation. Or instead of using the donation as a tax deduction families will be entered in a raffle that historically has awesome prizes. This campaign runs in the fall.
Painless fundraisers involve linking your grocery cards, clipping BoxTops and labels and donating used ink cartridges & cell phones.
Spiritwear is available for sale year-round at very reasonable prices. Along with DDMS spirit, practical t-shirts for PE may be purchased as well.
Restaurant rewards give families opportunities to sample area restaurants at discounted prices.
Funds raised are used to support the students and staff through various programs such as Cultural Arts, Academic Boosters, Teacher Allocations, Techology Support and more. In addition, the PTA funds the Dragon's Flame newsletter, school directory, staff hospitality events and more.
