Math Contracts

There will be a contract for each quarter of the school year. Students are to review the contract with a parent/guardian. The contract is to be signed by the student and the parent/guardian. Students will track their own progress on their contract form. Students are expected to complete all the task activities. The completion of activities on the Math Contract is factored into the quarter grade.

Expectations:  Students will understand that when they complete the daily classwork on the given concept they are to pull out their math contract and start working on the unfinished activities. There is no set order for completing these activities; students may select any activity within the column. Students will be given the opportunity to work on their math contract after the assigned classwork activity, as well as designated days where the class will solely work on their math contract activities.

Math Projects

Each quarter students will be given a project, which is to be competed by the end of the quarter. Each project is designed to allow students to use math concepts learned in a real world situation, as well as provide a life learning lesson.
